➨ Fields

The ScalarChaser animates transitions for single float values. Whenever the destination field receives a floating point number, it creates a transition from its current value to the newly set number. It creates a smooth transition that ends duration seconds after the last number has been received.

HTML Encoding and Default Values

<ScalarChaser destination='0' duration='1' initialDestination='0' initialValue='0' isActive='false' metadata='X3DMetadataObject' value='0' ></ScalarChaser>

These are the X3D / X3DOM fields of this node. Values should usually be received / set as strings via DOM functions (i.e., using setAttribute("myFieldName", "myFieldValue") and getAttribute("myFieldName")).
